Academic Technologies

To aid the academic mission of Southern Connecticut State university, Academic Technologies provides a more concrete bridge between Academic Affairs and Information Technology. We foster collaborative partnerships, which advance the integration of information technology in teaching and learning.

Working with IT, we collaborate in the design and development of engaging, innovative, and high-quality learning activities and infrastructure that meet the diverse needs of our students, faculty, staff, and administrators.


  • Center for Educational and Assisstive Technology (CEAT) - The Center for Educational and Assisstive Technology promotes the benefits of Universal Design for Learning by providing technology and support to all members of the Southern Connecticut State University community, as well as to the community at large.
  • Teaching and Learning Technologies - Teaching & Learning Technologies provides support for faculty development in teaching. It promotes exploration of new methods of integrating technology into the teaching and learning process.
