Transfer Credit Request
Current matriculated students who plan to take courses at other institutions must receive prior approval, using the appropriate request form, to apply the transfer credit(s) towards their program requirements at Southern.
Following approval, students must submit an official transcript to the Registrar's Office showing proof of completion. Transfer credits will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date official transcript is received.
ARE MY transfer CREDITS POSTED?
Students are responsible to check their unofficial transcript using Banner Web to ensure receipt and posting of the transfer course(s). Only credits are transferred in, not grades, therefore a student's GPA is computed on Southern courses only.
WHAT COURSES WILL TRANSFER IN?
For a list of undergraduate courses that may be accepted from other Connecticut Institutions, please refer to the Transfer Equivalency website. For undergraduate transfer courses in Business, Mathematics, and World Languages please submit your request to the academic department listed below for prior approval. Graduate students may submit requests to their department advisor.
