Enrollment & Degree Verification
The National Student Clearinghouse is the official provider of enrollment verification for Southern Connecticut State University. To request an official verification to be mailed or faxed to insurance companies, employers, loan companies, etc.:
- Login to BannerWeb
- Click on Student Services
- Click on Student Records
- Click on Enrollment Verification
- Click on National Student Clearinghouse Self-Service
- Click on obtain an enrollment certificate (you can choose enrollment history or current enrollment)
Please note: Current semester certificates will be available after the 3rd week of classes.
Students may verify a degree by requesting an official transcript. Employers, Insurance Companies, and Other Third Parties looking for degree verification services should contact the National Student Clearinghouse at www.degreeverify.org. The National Student Clearinghouse is the official provider of degree verification for Southern Connecticut State University. There is a fee for this service.
Loan Deferment forms issued by loan companies such as Nelnet, Naviance, SallieMae, Perkins, Private Loans, In-School Deferment, etc. may be submitted to the Registrar’s Office for processing. If a student has more than one loan holder, a separate form is required for each lender.
Third Party Verification
If you have a specific form from a third party requesting verification information, such as the DMV or Housing Authority, please submit to the Registrar’s Office for processing along with a completed Third Party Form Request.
