Mission
The mission of the Office of Career & Professional Development is to serve as the
primary
institutional conduit for career development services. As a comprehensive and centralized
unit,
the office provides timely, relevant, and useful programs and services to students,
institutional
stakeholders, external organizations, and community partners.

Educate and empower students and alumni to make informed and successful career-related
decisions through programs, resources, services and technology as they prepare for
life and work in a competitive and global society.

Encourage a cooperative and team oriented work environment within the Office of Career
and Professional Development that fosters mutual respect and cultivates and maintains
partnerships with our constituencies including employers, faculty and staff to develop
collaborative outreach programs and services.
