Completing a degree program and preparing for today's job market requires that students
be well prepared, creative, and able to use a variety of programs and services that
help them develop the necessary skills. To provide our students with the most up-to-date
and comprehensive career development tools, the Office of Career and Professional
Development offers an array of career planning programs to help students decide what
major to pursue, what career best suits them, and how to begin the all-important job

Each year the Office of Career & Professional Development holds a career fair that
brings national and regional employers representing all fields to the Southern campus.
The fairs foster student and employer interaction while offering students the opportunity
to explore various careers, learn about organizations and industries, and apply for
full-time, part-time, internship, and cooperative education opportunities. *Professional attire required. Copies of current resume strongly encouraged. WORKSHOPS & PRESENTATIONS
Workshops will be held on the 3rd floor of the Buley Library in the Southern Success
Center - Room 303.
