We are currently hiring Academic Specialists in the following disciplines for the Spring 2018 semester:
Supplemental Instruction Leader
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a series of weekly review sessions for students taking historically difficult courses. SI is provided for all students in the supported classes who want to improve their understanding of course material and improve their grades.
SI Leaders are undergraduate students who have successfully completed the class for which they are assigned to support. SI Leaders attend class for their assigned course once per week and then plan and hold two review sessions for the students enrolled in that class section to review and discuss challenging concepts, share additional resources and materials, and help students develop more effective study skills.
